Runn - Watts adjustment ( FR255/955 ) | CIQ data field or natively

I have a Garmin Forerunner 255 and have tested the Runn Data Field which seems to work fine showing + and - incline percent and elev gain/loss but I was wondering if it can be made to adjust the watts?  Garmin carries on using flat watts, enabled by connecting running dynamics pod and using the treadmill speed as a basis.  I had previously built a standalone bit of firmware which connects to Runn, taking the speed then multiplying by a custom number, then checking the incline % and adjusting down the watts if downhill or up for uphill.  Garmin's code on the watch probably only uses the barometer data in order to calculate % incline - is it possible to edit the watches barometer data from a connect IQ app?  That's make it work wouldn't it :) Otherwise would it be possible to have a separate NPE Watt value on the app too?

The other idea would be to bake power directly into the Runn unit and cut out the CIQ app all together so you could connect via ANT+ or BLE and just have native power which would then show up on your power curve on whichever platform you use e.g intervals.icu
