I've just completed my second workout with this and in both instances the ANT+ signal seems to be dropping constantly. Or at least that's what I think is happening. It is CONSTANT, and no clear reason as to why.
I'm running along at a static pace but I get spikes in speed. Some are "small" and "short" - 1 to 3 seconds of +1km/hr, for examples - but I've seen some that spike as high as +30km/h. My best guess is this is the result of an ANT+ dropout.
The first workout I had the ANT+ dongle in my PC about 4 meters away from the Runn. Second workout I used a USB 2.0 extension cable to put the dongle within 1 meter. Both workouts produced the same result.
I logged my last workout twice concurrently; Zwift + Runn via ANT+ in one and Garmin + Garmin Footpod via ANT+ in another. I do have both .fit files and the Zwift log file if it would be of interest.
Is the Bluetooth functionality better if I use the Zwift Companion app?
